Today I am joined by Jinyong Lee, CEO and Co-Founder of Kryptos Biotechnologies whose technology called photothermal heating – uses light to generate and control heat for fast and accurate Polymerase Chain Reaction to build an integrated sample-to-answer molecular diagnostics system for point-of-care testing. Lee oversees the company’s overall business including financing, strategic planning, business development, and investor relations.

Prior to Kryptos, Lee has served clients in various industries including Technology, Private equity, Finance, Consumer product, Chemicals, Construction, and Heavy industries sectors while working at Bain & Company. His main practice areas were new business planning, due diligence, post-merger integration, operation improvement, and organization optimization. 

Lee has an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a President of Wharton Korea Club, and a member of Healthcare, Technology, and Boxing club. Lee holds a BA in Business administration from Seoul National University. He was awarded the Seoul National University Alumni Association scholarship.
