On this episode of America Open for Business, I am joined by Maria Addario-Alter, founder and president of Mom Bomb, an organization that sells luxury bath bombs. The company is making a difference in the lives of women who find themselves in a life crisis and don’t know where to turn to. Mom Bomb donates a percentage of each bath bomb sold to its sister charity, Mom Bomb Org. The charity offers the recipient a choice between multiple services – meal delivery, childcare, laundry, or cleaning service.
Maria Alter is a passionate, dedicated single mom to two beautiful daughters. She has experienced, in her own life, times of need where she could have benefited from the services that Mom Bomb Org offers. Maria joined the Mom Bomb team to make a difference in women’s lives. She is sympathetic to moms who are struggling. She loves cultivating an environment that serves others’ needs – with many years of experience in non- profit organizations. Her marketing and sales skills can only be matched by her desire to help people, especially moms, who need help but have no means of receiving it. Mom Bomb’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of women with the selfcare bath product they sell as well as supporting moms who need support from an organization created, managed, and operated by women.
