Today I am joined by Kelly Huibregtse, a pediatrician who has turned her passion of photography, food and writing into a movement on her blog A Side of Sweet. She is a full-time physician who cares for critically ill infants and children in Northern California. She has also published papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as radiation induced cancers, long term effects of birth control on cognition and risks of cancer from radiation received through diagnostic imaging. Her photography work has been featured both domestically and internationally in media outlets like MSN, Martha Stewart and Women’s Health.
