Mike Libecki

Welcome to the Monday Climate Change interview with Scott Amyx. Today I am joined by Mike Libecki, a National Geographic Explorer and Dell Ambassador who has embarked on 70 expeditions across nearly 100 countries in the most remote and dangerous conditions.

Mike Libecki has an unparalleled tick-list of expeditions and first ascents in the world’s most remote and exotic places. As a National Geographic Explorer, climber and soloist, he is addicted to exploring the most mysterious and untouched areas on the planet. Mike has multiple first ascents and solo ascents on big rock walls and towers from Afghanistan to Antarctica on 70 expeditions and nearly 100 countries including notoriously risky and intensified environments. Mike is on track to achieve a life goal of 100 expeditions by the time he is 100 years old! Mike is also a dedicated father, and has won Father of the Year Award at his daughter’s school more than once. His 13 year old daughter, Lilliana is following in his footsteps, with her own adventures and humanitarian work around the world.
