Welcome to the Monday Climate Change interview with Scott Amyx.
Today, I’m joined by Manthan Shah, a Gen Z founder of the Kin Organization and International Table Tennis Medalist. He is currently a college freshman at the School of Global Management in Singapore.
He was the captain of the Indian National Table Tennis Team for Pacific Games U-18, Australia, where he won two bronze medals. He was a two-time Indian Table Tennis national champion.
At 17 when he was in high school, he founded the Kin Organization which is a platform that enables youth to connect and volunteer to NGOs in Pune, India. Also in high school, he published a paper on the “Impact of Community Service on Student’s Personalities” in the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies. He is volunteering for UN SDG 6 on Water Purification and Sanitation in Sri Lanka. Currently, he is writing a paper on how the Circular Economy model could be implemented across sports, fashion and education sectors in India. He is also authoring a book on how could Gen Z can realize their potential in this age of disruptive technologies.
