Today I am joined by Dr. John Cooley, Founder & Chief of Product of Nanoramic Laboratories, a R&D company with EV battery technology that is cheaper, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly than the current industry standard.
Nanoramic Laboratories is an industry-leading energy storage technology company and materials solutions innovator headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Spun out of MIT in 2009, Nanoramic is the exclusive designer, manufacturer, and licensor of Neocarbonix electrodes for rechargeable li-ion batteries, li-ion capacitors, and supercapacitors.
In the past, he has worked in the defense and medical device industries and has consulted in IP litigation. At Nanoramic, John has led the execution of our first product lines and has co-authored multiple winning grant proposals.
Dr. Cooley holds five technical degrees from MIT including the Ph.D. from the Electrical Engineering dept. At MIT, he won both the David Adler Memorial Thesis Prize and the Morris Joseph Levin Award for his thesis work and was a Martin Family Fellow in 2009.
