Today I am joined by Dr. William Anderegg, Director of the Wilkes Center for Climate Science and Policy and an Associate Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Utah.
He received his bachelors and Ph.D. from Stanford University and was a NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University. He is a Packard Foundation Fellow for Science and Engineering and CAREER Awardee from the National Science Foundation. He has published >135 scientific studies on climate change, and his work has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, and National Geographic. His research seeks to understand the future of Earth’s forests in a changing climate and provide tools for conservation, climate policy, and carbon markets.
