Today I am joined by Robert M. Lee is the CEO and Founder of the industrial cyber security company Dragos. The Series B startup has raised a total of $48.2M in funding.
He is considered a pioneer in the ICS threat intelligence and incident response community. Robert serves currently on the U.S. Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee, the World Economic Forum’s Subcommittee on Cyber Resilience in Electricity as well as its oil and gas community, where he contributes as an Advisory Committee Member.
A passionate educator, Robert is the course author of SANS ICS515 – “ICS Active Defense and Incident Response” with its accompanying GIAC certification GRID and the lead-author of SANS FOR578 – “Cyber Threat Intelligence” with its accompanying GIAC GCTI certification.
Dragos’ solutions combine advanced technology for asset identification, threat detection, and response with the battle-honed insights of an elite team of industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity experts.
Robert obtained his start in cyber security in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Cyber Warfare Operations Officer tasked to the National Security Agency (NSA). He has performed defense, intelligence, and attack missions in various government organizations including the establishment of a first-of-its-kind ICS/SCADA cyber threat intelligence and intrusion analysis mission for the NSA.
