Welcome to Innovating with Scott Amyx. I’m your host Scott. Today I am joined by Tom Thimot Tom Thimot, Former CEO of Socure, Inc., a Series C startup that has raised a total of $62M in funding. Socure is a leading provider of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies that establish a trusted digital identity for online and in-store applications.

Thimot has decades of experience at public and private technology companies that have defined or re-defined markets in the areas of predictive analytics, digital identity, public cloud, fraud and security.

Prior to joining Socure, Thimot was Vice President of Cognizant’s Emerging Business Accelerator. He also served as Vice President of Sales at Oracle, where he was responsible for the Central United States region.

Thimot’s strategic experience includes leading M&A and capital raising transactions for public, private equity and venture backed entities. He has extensive experience in the areas of big data analytics, software-as-a-service, digital identity, public cloud, mobility, IoT and social computing.

His business experience spans six continents, with leading high-tech firms based in the Silicon Valley, New York and around the globe. Thimot’s responsibilities have included recruiting top management talent, defining strategy, overseeing operations, engineering solutions, defining markets and leading enterprise sales.

Thimot holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and attended the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program.
