Interview with Marshall Sandman, Host of What To Do With Marshall

Today I am joined by Marshall Sandman who left his post as WarnerMedia corporate strategy director as the pandemic hit to launch and host the coveted Instagram Live interview series, Spilling the Quarantea (@spillingthequarantea), benefitting a significant organization focused on providing meals to at-risk families in Harlem, NY, Harlem Grown.

Spilling the Quarantea highlighted advice from renowned influencers and celebrities on how to best optimize time spent during this global pandemic, while showcasing at-home workouts, recipes, and other exciting, interactive content. It has recently been rebranded for the post-quarantine world, now called What To Do With Marshall (@whattodowithmarshall), featuring a heightened focus on social issues. This 100% not-for-profit show highlights discussions with notable figures, celebrities and influencers in the media, entertainment, sports, and social justice reform spaces. The show will continue to benefit Harlem Grown, along with other charities related to specific discussion themes.

Harlem Grown inspires youth to lead healthy and ambitious lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition, in Harlem, NY. Because of COVID-19, Harlem Grown developed HG Meals, to provide hot, nutritious meals to families in Harlem shelters who may be experiencing extreme economic distress during this time.

Previously, Marshall worked as an investment banker both at Goldman Sachs and the Jordan Edmiston Group. Marshall has served rotations on the Junior Board of the American Cancer Society and as a Junior Partner of the Public theatre. Marshall has his Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and is from Raleigh, North Carolina.
