And this is one of the fundamental challenges with innovation. Because you’re an expert, you can’t help but to keep leaning on what you know and what you’ve done instead of looking at a problem with a fresh set of eyes.
This explains why so many products and services are a slightly revised version of the prior one. In the meantime, your competitors and new entrants are leapfrogging you with an entirely different approach.
